Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition and Management
- Develops and implements recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Oversees the hiring process from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Conducts regular performance evaluations and provides constructive feedback to employees.
- Implements talent management programs to identify and develop high-potential employees.
- HR Operations Management
- Manages the daily workflow of the HR department, delegating tasks and ensuring timely completion.
- Administers compensation, benefits, and leave programs in accordance with company policies and regulations.
- Handles disciplinary actions and terminations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company procedures.
- Conducts investigations into employee complaints or disputes, taking appropriate action to resolve issues.
- Strategic Planning and Compliance
- Collaborates with senior leadership to understand organizational goals and develop HR strategies to support them.
- Monitors changes in employment laws and regulations, ensuring the organization's compliance.
- Reviews and updates HR policies and procedures as needed to maintain compliance and improve efficiency.
- Professional Development and Leadership
- Provides leadership and guidance to HR staff, fostering a culture of growth and development.
- Facilitates training and development opportunities for HR team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Represents the HR department in meetings with senior leadership and other stakeholders, communicating departmental goals and initiatives.
- Budget Management
- Develops and manages the HR department budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial goals.
- Identifies cost-saving opportunities and recommends strategies for improving departmental efficiency.
- Pitches and Presentations:
- Participate in pitch presentations and brainstorming sessions, providing support and insights in human resources
- Assist in preparing presentation materials and communicating ideas effectively to internal teams and clients.
- Industry Knowledge
- Be knowledgeable on market developments and opportunities around the advertising, digital, creative, technology, marketing, and consulting industries
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to creative operations and project management
- Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in operational processes and tools
- Collaborate with team members to share insights and best practices for continuous improvement
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Employee retention rate calculated by the percentage of employees who leave the organization within a specific period and analyzing turnover trends and causes.
- Average time it takes to fill vacant positions from the initiation of the recruitment process to the acceptance of an offer.
- Determine the ratio of total recruitment costs to the total compensation of all hires.
- Employee engagement levels assessed through regular surveys, measuring factors such as job satisfaction, morale, and organizational commitment.
- Track the average number of training hours provided to each employee annually.
- Monitor the variance between the planned HR budget and actual expenditures.
- Evaluate the results of internal or external compliance audits to ensure adherence to employment laws and regulations.
- Effectiveness of performance management processes measured by tracking metrics such as the completion rate of performance reviews and the percentage of employees achieving performance goals.
- Monitor metrics related to diversity and inclusion, such as the representation of underrepresented groups in the workforce and leadership positions.
- Survey internal stakeholders, including employees and managers, to assess satisfaction with HR services and support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Masters degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of human resource management experience is required.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP are highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Google Suite products, especially Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Slides
- In-depth knowledge of local employment laws and regulations, with the ability to interpret and apply legal requirements to HR policies, procedures, and practices effectively
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience leading and motivating a diverse team of HR professionals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment to achieve departmental goals.
- Exceptional interpersonal and public relations skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
- Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines consistently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to inform decision-making and solve complex problems.
