Your Mission Brief
The Associate Copywriter supports the Creative Team in developing compelling, strategic, and conversion-driven copy across multiple platforms. You will craft clear and persuasive messaging aligned with brand voice and campaign objectives, while continuously developing your creative thinking, research capability, and execution speed.
Where You'll Lead
You will take ownership of multimedia design projects, contribute to creative strategy, and support the team in achieving Skyrocket’s high standards of aesthetic excellence and operational efficiency.
Copywriting & Content Development
- Write clear, compelling, and grammatically accurate copy for websites, social media, emails, advertisements, and other marketing materials.
- Conduct research on target audiences, market trends, and competitors to inform messaging and positioning.
- Adapt tone and style based on brand guidelines, audience behavior, and communication channels.
- Integrate persuasive insights, data points, and strategic messaging into copy to drive engagement and conversions.
- Collaborate closely with designers, art directors, and other creatives to ensure alignment between copy and visuals.
- Implement efficient workflows to ensure consistent on-time delivery of copy assets.
Organization & File Management
- Maintain systematic organization of client assets, briefs, and documentation within designated Google Drive folders.
- Ensure proper file naming conventions and access permissions to maintain confidentiality and data security.
Pitches & Presentations
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute strategic copy ideas during campaign development.
- Support pitch presentations by crafting key messaging frameworks, taglines, and narrative flows.
- Assist in preparing presentation materials and articulating copy rationale clearly to internal teams and clients.
Industry Knowledge & Growth
- Stay updated on developments within advertising, digital marketing, creative, technology, and consulting industries.
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and skill-building initiatives to strengthen copywriting and operational capabilities.
- Share insights and best practices with team members to contribute to continuous improvement.
Mission Control and AI
- Contribute to internal missions and continuous improvement initiatives by supporting the development of processes, systems, workflows, and operational improvements that enhance team efficiency and overall business operations.
- Explore and apply AI tools, automation, and emerging technologies where appropriate to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and support smarter ways of working across the organization.
- Participate in cross-functional mission projects and initiatives that drive innovation, operational excellence, and scalable solutions for the company.

Essential skills, knowledge or experience
- Strong command of English grammar, structure, and persuasive writing techniques.
- Ability to write compelling headlines, slogans, and calls-to-action that drive engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt tone across different brands and audiences.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (especially Google Docs) for collaborative writing and editing.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as ClickUp.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple deliverables simultaneously.
- Open to feedback and committed to refining output based on direction.
- Collaborative mindset with proactive initiative.
Desirable skills, knowledge or experience
- Experience in PR writing (press releases, media kits, and related materials).
- Familiarity with SEO principles, grammar tools, and content optimization platforms.
- Exposure to pitch environments and campaign ideation sessions.
- Experience in data-informed copywriting and performance-driven messaging.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred; fresh graduates or undergraduates with a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply.
Required education and qualifications (certifications, licenses, accreditations, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree (completed or ongoing) in Communication, Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
- Portfolio showcasing copywriting work across marketing materials, especially for social media and digital campaigns.
