Your Mission Brief

The Production Specialist ensures the smooth execution of photo and video projects from concept to final delivery.

 

Where You’ll Lead

This role combines creative direction, technical execution, and project management to deliver high-quality visual content. The Production Specialist collaborates with directors, editors, designers, and marketing teams to translate concepts into compelling visual narratives.

Pre-Production

  • Collaborate with marketing, video producers, and stakeholders to develop creative concepts aligned with brand priorities.
  • Research and gather visual and audio references and other materials to support production.
  • Support creation of detailed production plans, including shot lists, storyboards, and schedules.
  • Coordinate pre-production logistics, such as location scouting and equipment rental.

Production

  • Serve as Director, DOP, or Photographer to ensure briefs and pre-production guidelines are met.
  • Ensure all elements are in place for successful filming, including lighting, camera setups, and on-set coordination.
  • Guide team members to realize the creative vision while maintaining production efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot issues during shooting, making quick decisions to keep production on track.
  • Support Senior Production Specialist in tracking and managing production equipment and assets.

Post-Production

  • Post-process photos to align with company and client standards.
  • Collaborate with post-production teams on audio integration, color grading, and other enhancements.
  • Assist editors in short-form video edits for social media using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
  • Review drafts and incorporate feedback to meet quality standards and branding guidelines.

Project Leadership

  • Define, plan, and manage assigned projects in collaboration with MVPS Lead and Senior Production Specialists.
  • Identify key resources and provide direction for project objectives.
  • Manage project schedules and tasks, adapting to changes as needed.
  • Support issue resolution, conflict management, and timely decision-making.
  • Track progress and keep stakeholders informed of project developments.

Pitches and Presentations

  • Participate in pitch presentations, offering insights into digital marketing strategy for shoot productions.
  • Assist in preparing presentation materials and effectively communicating ideas to internal teams and clients.

Industry Knowledge

  • Stay updated on trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in advertising, digital media, and creative operations.
  • Participate in workshops and training programs to expand knowledge in multimedia design, workflows, and creative strategies.
  • Collaborate with peers to share insights and refine approaches for continuous improvement.

Mission Control and AI

  • Contribute to internal missions and continuous improvement initiatives by supporting the development of processes, systems, workflows, and operational improvements that enhance team efficiency and overall business operations.
  • Explore and apply AI tools, automation, and emerging technologies where appropriate to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and support smarter ways of working across the organization.
  • Participate in cross-functional mission projects and initiatives that drive innovation, operational excellence, and scalable solutions for the company.

Essential skills, knowledge or experience  

  • Proficiency in photo production tools like Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, and video tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut.
  • Experience in all aspects of production, from pre-production planning to post-production editing.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong visual aesthetics.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements.

Desirable skills, knowledge or experience  

  • Portfolio showcasing diverse production projects and creative capabilities.
  • Familiarity with production workflows and project management for multimedia content.
  • Knowledge of emerging multimedia technologies and trends.

  

Required education and qualifications (certifications, licenses, accreditations, etc.)  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Film, Photography, Multimedia, or related field preferred.
