Advertising Operations - Search

  • Work with the team to ensure the client's digital marketing needs are met, especially for search marketing.
  • Conduct thorough SEO Audits
  • Analyze and report on clients’ baseline search performance
  • Make recommendations according to best practices in order to increase clients’ page rankings
  • Properly analyze and recommend keywords for SEO and PPC campaigns
  • Conceptualize, administer, manage, optimize, and report on any PPC campaigns
  • Manage reporting via reporting / analytics tools, and present to all stakeholders
  • Make recommendations to increase landing page effectiveness
  • Continue to monitor search trends and apply best practices to the work performed at Skyrocket Studios
  • Use tools effectively and efficiently for better performance, reporting, and recommendations to clients

Advertising Operations - General

  • Have broad knowledge of all digital marketing channels, their applications, and execution methods
  • Understand analytics tools / platforms, and interpret data for more improved decision making
  • Understand the concept of A/B testing and campaign optimization
  • Craft full-funnel digital marketing strategies for clients
  • Work with other departments for campaign strategy and optimization
  • Manage reporting via reporting / analytics tools (e.g. Google Data Studio), and present to all stakeholders
  • Work with the team to ensure client’s digital marketing needs are met
  • Research using digital marketing tools or search

Relationship Building

  • Establish rapport and nurture relationships with clients, both new to agency and existing to agency. 
  • Manage meeting schedules, both with clients and any team members required. 
  • Have a consultative approach with clients and offer value added services to further clients’ business goals 
  • Maintain constant communication with clients to identify needs before they arise, then communicate and address to internal team 
  • Build on relationships in order to get referrals to other potential leads (interdepartmental and external to clients’ businesses) 
  • Act as liaison between clients and internal team. Serve as the lead point of contact for all client relationship matters 
  • Actively build relationships internally, especially with the account managers 
  • Train the current account managers to ensure processes are met and expectations are exceeded 

Pitches and Presentations, Sales

  • Prepare and manage team for pitch dates and pitches 
  • Actively participate in strategy / creative ideation for clients / pitches / projects 
  • Organize and lead the pitches and meetings with clients 
  • Have a deep understanding of all Skyrocket’s products and services in order to up/cross sell 
  • Maintain relationship in order to sign client on more contracts - renewals, upsells, other products 
  • Negotiate contracts, payment terms, and prices 
  • Create contracts, cost estimates, and statements of work for clients 
  • Strive to increase close/success rates with clients / pitches

Industry Knowledge

  • Be knowledgeable on market developments and opportunities around the advertising, digital, creative, technology, marketing, and consulting industries
  • Keep up to date with all digital marketing techniques
  • Share knowledge with the team openly and frequently

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Timely client project and task delivery
  • SEO performance, per client
  • Other KPIs on a per client (including Skyrocket Studios) basis


  • Superb interpersonal / PR skills
  • Analytical, and numbers oriented. Must make decisions based on data and numbers
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Extremely organized, especially with digital collaboration tools such as Google Drive and Asana
  • Must be a team player with an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to be proactive and take initiative
  • Passionate about customers and customer experience
  • Digital Marketing, Advertising, Creative, Technology, and general advertising industry knowledge a plus
  • Adept with Google Suite products, especially Google Sheets
  • Adept with different platforms of social media advertising
  • Facebook/Meta Blueprint/Google Certification is a plus
