Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement a comprehensive PR strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to enhance the company's brand and reputation.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform PR strategy.
- Oversee crisis management and establish protocols to handle potential PR issues.
- Client Servicing & Media Relations
- Identify company and/or brands’ target group and audience and determine the best way to communicate publicity information to them.
- Write interesting and effective press releases and ensure they reach the target audience. Prepare information for media kits and develop and maintain company internet or intranet web pages.
- Pitch interviews and exclusive features to the media.
- Follow up with media for press releases.
- Assist in media management.
- Develop and maintain the company’s corporate image and identity, including the use of logos and signage.
- Evaluate advertising and promotional programs for compatibility with public relations efforts.
- Formulate PR programs and campaigns as approved by management.
- Work closely with the Digital & Creatives team on corporate or brand image positioning initiatives.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with media representatives, trade magazines, radio and television, clients, and vendors.
- Direct activities of external agencies, establishments, and departments that develop and implement communication strategies and information programs.
- Content Creation
- Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content for press releases, blog posts, social media, and other channels.
- Ensure all content aligns with the company’s voice, brand, and strategic messaging.
- Collaborate with internal teams to generate ideas and develop stories that resonate with target audiences.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of content strategies and make adjustments as needed.
- Campaign Management
- Lead the planning and execution of PR campaigns and initiatives.
- Coordinate with marketing and digital teams to ensure integrated communication strategies.
- Track and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Manage PR budgets and allocate resources efficiently.
- Team Leadership & Management
- Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing PR team.
- Set clear objectives and performance expectations for team members.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that promotes creativity and innovation.
- Identify and address training and development needs within the team.
- Ensure the team remains motivated and engaged, investing in building agency morale and capacities.
- Pitches and Presentations:
- Participate in pitch presentations and brainstorming sessions, providing support and insights as the Head of Public Relations.
- Assist in preparing presentation materials and communicating ideas effectively to internal teams and clients.
- Industry Knowledge
- Be knowledgeable on market developments and opportunities around the advertising, digital, creative, technology, marketing, and consulting industries.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to PR operations and project management.
- Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in operational processes and tools.
- Collaborate with team members to share insights and best practices for continuous improvement.

Requirements:
- Proven track record in public relations, with significant experience in a leadership role.
- Extensive network of media contacts and industry connections.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
- Experience in crisis management and handling sensitive situations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Public Administration, Advertising, Mass Communication, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated success in implementing media campaigns, including social media.
- Excellent tact, diplomacy, and persuasive skills in dealing with the press and media.
- Strong grasp of the industry, brands, and their competitors.
- Ability to multitask and consistently produce high-quality output.
- Creative, organized, and goal-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiating skills.
- Flexible and able to manage multiple projects while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy.
