Salary Range: Php 20,000 - 25,000

Responsibilities:

  • Audio and Video Editing (VFX, Color Grading, 2D and 3D Motion Graphics)
    • Edit sound, video, or combined files using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve
    • Knowledgeable with Blender, Unreal, Unity, 3Ds Max or similar tools.
    • Record, edit, and mix audio tracks, enhancing sound quality and adding effects as necessary.
    • Create and integrate animation, sound effects, titles, subtitles, visual effects and other visual elements into projects.
    • Curate and maintain sound libraries for use in post-production work.
    • Convey mood and messaging through the application of color theory in Color Grading

​​Pre-Production Phase

  • Concept Development:
    • Collaborate with creative directors, producers, and clients to understand the project’s requirements, visual style, and narrative.
    • Participate in brainstorming sessions, storyboarding, and moodboarding processes to develop the creative direction and style frames for animations.
    • Assist in developing animatics to visualize timing, transitions, and pacing before full production.
       
  • Planning:
    • Analyze scripts and concepts to determine the best animation techniques and editing strategies.
    • Prepare production timelines and work estimates for animation and editing tasks.
    • Coordinate with sound designers and illustrators for asset preparation and audio-visual sync.


Production Phase

  • 2D Animation:
    • Create high-quality 2D animations using software such as Adobe Animate, After Effects, Toon Boom, or other industry-standard tools.
    • Develop motion graphics, character animations, and visual effects that align with the project’s creative vision.
    • Ensure animations adhere to the brand guidelines and storytelling principles.
       
  • Video Editing:
    • Import and organize raw video and audio footage for editing.
    • Assemble and edit video clips into engaging, coherent final cuts, ensuring smooth transitions, pacing, and visual harmony.
    • Integrate animations, motion graphics, sound effects, and music tracks into video projects to enhance the narrative.
    • Optimize videos for multiple formats and platforms (e.g., social media, digital displays, web).


Post-Production Phase

  • Final Polishing:
    • Refine animations and video edits based on feedback from directors, producers, and clients.
    • Apply color correction, grading, and other finishing touches to ensure the highest video quality.
    • Perform sound syncing, final mix adjustments, and integrate VO or dialogue.
       
  • Rendering and Exporting:
    • Render and export final animations and video files in appropriate formats for delivery.
    • Ensure that final assets meet platform specifications (resolution, frame rate, etc.).
       
  • Quality Assurance and Control
    • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure alignment with creative intent and technical specification, animation smoothness and video continuity,
    • Utilize a range of techniques to enhance video and audio quality for clarity and impact.
    • Adhere closely to directives and feedback from directors, producers, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
    • Showcase expertise in each project, possessing comprehensive knowledge of its storyline and technical requirements.
    • Review all projects for technical quality, and alignment with the original creative vision.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve any animation or video-related issues that may arise during post-production.
       
  • Project Management
    • Perform general post-production duties, including media ingestion, troubleshooting, and delivery to producers.
    • Manage project timelines for post-production tasks, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to financial constraints.
    • Collaborate with team members and other departments on the ideation and pre-production of video output that involves heavy VFX and motion graphics.
    • Provide accurate estimates for project scopes using industry-standard methods.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise, ensuring smooth project workflows.
       
  • Pitches and Presentations:
    • Participate in pitch presentations and brainstorming sessions, providing support and insights in 2D Animation.
    • Assist in preparing presentation materials and communicating ideas effectively to internal teams and clients.
       
  • Industry Knowledge
    • Be knowledgeable on market developments and opportunities around the advertising, digital, creative, technology, marketing, and consulting industries
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to creative operations and project management
    • Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in operational processes and tools
    • Collaborate with team members to share insights and best practices for continuous improvement
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Evaluate the smoothness, creativity, and adherence to brand guidelines of animations through peer reviews and client feedback.
  • Measure the precision of audio syncing with animations to ensure seamless integration of sound and visuals.
  • Track the percentage of projects completed on or before their deadlines to assess time management and workflow efficiency.
  • Monitor the number of frames or animation sequences completed daily to evaluate productivity levels.
  • Track proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Animate, After Effects, Blender) based on project requirements and successful completion of tasks.
  • Evaluate contributions made during concept development phases, including ideas generated during brainstorming sessions or moodboarding.
  • Measure the percentage of projects that pass quality assurance checks without requiring significant revisions.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year experience in post-production is preferred, although fresh graduates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Willingness to learn and be trained with tasks to familiarize oneself with the whole production process.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of production equipment and tools to effectively carry out post-production tasks.
  • Familiarity with Digital Marketing, Advertising, Creative, Technology, and general advertising industry knowledge is a plus
  • Proficiency in Google Suite products, especially Google Sheets and Google Docs
  • Proficient in After Effects is a must 
  • Has knowledge in DaVinci Resolve, Blender, Unreal, Unity, 3Ds Max and/or other Post Production software that can do 3D Animation and VFX is preferred
  • Highly organized, particularly in utilizing digital collaboration tools such as Google Drive and ClickUp
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Filipino to collaborate with diverse teams and clients.
