Responsibilities
As a designer:
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, any 3D rendering software (CAD proficiency is not required but is a plus) 
  • Creates static imagery for print and digital media
  • Translate event concepts to fabrication
  • Design strengths include typography, color theory, layout, and space design
As a team player:
  • Multitasks and manages deadlines for projects under multiple clients
  • Manages sharing permissions and follows naming conventions of working files in Google Drive
  • Interprets client requests clearly; emerges from each briefing armed with clear next steps
As a digital marketer:
  • Aligns with approved marketing strategies
  • Supports creative decisions with intelligent marketing rationale
  • Participates in strategy and creative ideation for new pitches or projects
Examples of regular assignments include booth design, event activation mockups, floor planning, event collaterals, presentation design, poster design, logo design, brand books, brochures, menus, and other graphic/event design needs.

Key Performance Indicators
As a designer:
  • Grasp of Design Theory. How compliant is the designer with the basic principles of design? These include things like emphasis, alignment, balance, contrast, repetition, proportion, and hierarchy.
  • 3D Software Proficiency. How proficient is the designer in this software?
  • Adobe Creative Suite Proficiency. How proficient is the designer in different Adobe softwares?
  • Canva Proficiency. How well does the designer work with others using this program?
  • Brand Book Compliance & Style Adaptation. How well does the designer comply with internal and external brand guidelines?
  • Presentation & Mockup Design. How well can the designer present their designs through presentations and mockups?
  • Ideation & Research Skills. How well can the designer influence their own work with mood boards, brand research, and design trend analysis?
  • Digital Best Practices. How well does the designer comply with digital ad and social media best practices? Color space, (Adobe RGB vs sRGB), text size, element placement, and file types.
  • Print Best Practices. How well does the designer comply with print design best practices? Image resolution, color space (CMYK vs RGB), bleed, and file types.
As a team player:
  • Accountability. How much ownership of tasks does the employee display? Are they able to admit mistakes and uphold commitments
  • Attendance & Punctuality. How punctual and available is the employee during work hours?
  • Innovation & Creativity. How smart-working and solution-oriented is the employee?
  • Leadership & Collaborativeness. How well can the employee take command of group situations and how well do they work with the rest of the team?
  • Communication Skills. How clearly is the employee able to communicate their ideas?
  • Willingness to Learn. How much interest does the employee show in learning new things, whether managerial or technical? Does the employee attend internal training sessions and seek out external learning opportunities?
  • Presentation Skills. How articulate is the employee when it comes to internal and external presentations? How well can they defend their ideas?
  • Independence & Resourcefulness. How efficient is the employee with autonomous tasks?
Requirements
  • A strong design portfolio of digital and/or print marketing materials
  • A competent level of expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and any 3D Rendering Software
  • A background on industrial design, interior, or any design-related course
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in the same field
