Responsibilities:
- Business Analytics
- Proficient in standard marketing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including leads, conversion rates, website traffic, and social media engagement
- Utilize various data analysis tools, including but not limited to:
- Facebook/Instagram Insights
- Google Analytics
- Email marketing insights
- Social listening tools
- Shopify insights or equivalent e-commerce platform analytics
- Basic financial statements
- Consumer surveys and customer service data (e.g., net promoter score)
- Conduct in-depth analysis using tools such as Google Sheets and Excel, interpreting aggregated data to provide actionable insights addressing strategic inquiries
- Track, report, and analyze marketing performance, fulfilling ad-hoc analytics requests and automating regular reports
- Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking
- Assess online customer behavior through campaign metrics (e.g. delivery, open, click-through rates), offering recommendations for campaign optimization
- Analyze A/B and multivariate tests, disseminating results and providing strategic recommendations.
- Utilize reporting/analytics tools (e.g., Google Data Studio) to manage and present insights to stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary liaison for customer and market data insights, advising various agency departments (digital, copy, creatives, etc.) on data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with other departments to strategize and optimize campaigns
- Project Management and Process Improvement
- Implement efficient workflows to maximize productivity and meet project timelines effectively
- Establish clear and open communication among stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of client needs
- Utilize project management tools such as ClickUp to streamline workflows and optimize task management efficiently
- Continuously enhance internal processes related to report delivery and client recommendations.
- Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making, integrating consumer-driven analytics into media and marketing investment planning.
- Direct analytics projects, ensuring deliverables address client and media team inquiries while adhering to timelines and scope.
- Organization and File Management
- Maintain systematic storage and organization of client files within designated Google Drive folders, including assets, documentation, briefs, and other relevant materials
- Ensure proper permissions are set for all files to maintain confidentiality and data security
- Pitches and Presentations:
- Participate in pitch presentations and brainstorming sessions, providing support and insights in Business Intelligence
- Assist in preparing presentation materials and communicating ideas effectively to internal teams and clients.
- Industry Knowledge
- Be knowledgeable on market developments and opportunities around the advertising, digital, creative, technology, marketing, and consulting industries
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to creative operations and project management
- Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in operational processes and tools
- Collaborate with team members to share insights and best practices for continuous improvement
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Accuracy of data analysis and reporting to ensure the reliability of insights provided.
- Time taken to generate and deliver reports to stakeholders, ensuring timely dissemination of information.
- Effectiveness of marketing campaigns by analyzing key metrics such as conversion rates, engagement levels, and ROI.
- Number of actionable insights provided to inform strategic decision-making.
- Adherence to project timelines and milestones, measured by the percentage of projects completed on schedule.
- Client satisfaction ratings related to project management and delivery.
- Effectiveness of cross-functional collaboration, gauged through feedback from departmental stakeholders.
- Engagement in professional development activities, such as training sessions and certifications in analytics tools and methodologies.
- Contribution to revenue growth or cost savings attributed to data-driven insights and recommendations.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in marketing research and basic statistical analysis
- Knowledge of data science (e.g., Python, R, etc.) is a plus
- Familiarity with Digital Marketing, Advertising, Creative, Technology, and general advertising industry knowledge is a plus
- Proficiency in Google Suite products, especially Google Sheets
- Highly organized, particularly in utilizing digital collaboration tools such as Google Drive and ClickUp
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
