Business Analytics - General:

  • Be familiar with standard marketing KPIs, including but not limited to leads, conversion rates, website traffic and social media engagement.

  • Analyze external and internal customer data spreadsheet (Excel) models, web analytics tools, statistical analysis tools, and campaign management software tools, including but not limited to:

    • Facebook/Instagram Insights

    • Google Analytics

    • Email marketing insights

    • Social listening tools

    • Shopify Insights or any other e-commerce platform sales insights

    • Basic financial statements (specifically sales reports)

    • Consumer surveys and customer service data (e.g. net promoter score)

  • Using standard data analysis tools such as Google Sheets/Excel, analyze and interpret aggregated data, and provide actionable business and customer insights to address key strategic questions.

  • Be responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of marketing activities, ad-hoc analytics requests, and development/automation of regular reports.

  • Conduct competitive research and analyze benchmarking data.

  • Evaluate customers’ online behavior using campaign metrics (examples: delivery, open, click-through rates) and provide insights and recommendations for further enhancements to the campaign effectiveness.

  • Analyze A/B and Multi-variate tests, communicate results and provide recommendations.

  • Manage reporting via reporting / analytics tools (e.g. Google Data Studio), and present to all stakeholders.

  • Advise other agency functions (digital, copy, creatives, etc.) as the knowledge owner for customer and market data.

  • Work with other departments for campaign strategy and optimization.

Project Management and Process Improvement:

  • Manage time and resources effectively to meet strict deadlines and projects.

  • Establish solid communication amongst all stakeholders for full understanding of clients’ needs.

  • Manage all project tasks via ClickUp.

  • Continuously improve internal processes relating to report delivery and client recommendations.

  • Drive a culture of ‘always on’ data driven decision making that will institutionalize the use of consumer-driven analytics in media / marketing investment planning.

  • Scope and direct analytics projects to ensure that the deliverables are designed to answer valuable client and media team questions, and that timelines and scope are adhered to.

Organization & File Management:

  • Manage the storage and organization of all client data and reports in corresponding Google Drive folders.

  • Ensure the security of all data collected from and on behalf of the client.

  • Ensure proper permissions on all files.

Pitches and Reporting:

  • Actively participate in strategy / creative ideation for clients / pitches / projects.

  • Participate in pitch presentations, demonstrating an ability to use consumer data to help arrive at strategic business decisions.

  • Have a consultative approach with clients and offer value added services to further clients’ business goals.

  • Build reports providing the clear analytics story – why the work is important, the truths that the analytics reveal, and the actions that should follow the analyses.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Stay updated on various developments and opportunities around the advertising, digital, creative, technology, marketing, and consulting industries.

  • Keep up to date with the various changes.

  • Share knowledge with the team openly and frequently.


  • Proficient in marketing research and basic statistical analysis.

  • Excellent analytical skills and a high degree of business acumen.

  • Proven ability in handling concurrent projects with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Analytical, and numbers oriented. Must make decisions based on data and numbers.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Extremely organized, especially with digital collaboration tools such as Google Drive and ClickUp.

  • Must be a team player with an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to be proactive and take initiative.

  • Passionate about using data to improve customer experience.

  • Knowledge of data science (especially using languages like Python, R, etc.) is a plus.

  • Digital Marketing, Advertising, Creative, Technology, and general advertising industry knowledge a plus.

  • Adept with Google Suite products, especially Google Sheets.
