Responsibilities:

  • Copywriting
    • Write and edit original creative or technical copy for Skyrocket and its clients
    • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives
    • Demonstrate versatility in tone and style to cater to diverse target markets
    • Implement efficient workflows to maximize productivity and meet project timelines effectively
       
  • Creative Strategy and Content Development
    • Interpret client briefs accurately to deliver actionable next steps for project success
    • Establish clear and open communication among stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of client needs
    • Conduct in-depth research and integrate data and persuasive information into copy
    • Provide intelligent marketing rationale to support creative choices, contributing valuable insights to project discussions and overall effectiveness of campaigns
    • Align copywriting efforts with approved marketing strategies to deliver cohesive and impactful content
    • Collaborate with the team to establish and maintain a consistent creative direction across campaigns
       
  • Organization and File Management:
    • Maintain systematic storage and organization of client files within designated Google Drive folders, including assets, documentation, briefs, and other relevant materials
    • Ensure proper permissions are set for all files to maintain confidentiality and data security
       
  • Pitches and Presentations:
    • Participate in pitch presentations and brainstorming sessions, providing support and insights in copywriting
    • Assist in preparing presentation materials and communicating ideas effectively to internal teams and clients
       
  • Industry Knowledge
    • Be knowledgeable on market developments and opportunities around the advertising, digital, creative, technology, marketing, and consulting industries
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to creative operations and project management
    • Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in operational processes and tools
    • Collaborate with team members to share insights and best practices for continuous improvement

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Adherence to English grammar rules in all written content
  • Demonstrate proficiency in crafting conversational and culturally resonant Filipino copy
  • Adept in employing wit, emojis, memes, and cultural references to enhance engagement
  • Ability to produce compelling headlines, slogans, and calls-to-action that drive action and resonate with target audience
  • Adherence to internal and external brand voices and tones while maintaining consistency and authenticity
  • Demonstrate proficiency in identifying and correcting copy errors, both in personal work and that of team members
  • Ability to incorporate relevant keywords and search terms effectively to optimize content for search engines
  • Ability to understand customer journeys to create copy that enhances user experience and guides users seamlessly through the content
  • Ability to effectively manage and streamline workflows to maximize productivity and meet project deadlines
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness in finding creative solutions to challenges encountered during project execution
  • Percentage of tasks and deliverables completed on time and within scope across various projects
  • Ability to take command in group situations and collaborate effectively with the team
  • Demonstrated interest in learning new skills and attending internal or external trainings
 

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in the same field is preferred. However, fresh graduates or undergraduates with a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, especially Google Docs, for collaborative writing and editing
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Clickup for efficient task management and collaboration
  • Strong design portfolio showcasing proficiency in copywriting for marketing materials, particularly for social media platforms
  • Commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering work on schedule
  • Openness and responsiveness to constructive feedback
  • Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach and being initiative
  • Proven experience in public relations (PR) writing, including press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
